Gurgaon News: In a month-long campaign called ‘Operation Muskan’, the Gurugram Police has successfully rescued 40 missing children in the city. In the last eight days alone, 14 children, 11 adults, and 15 child labourers were rescued and handed over to their parents with the help of the Child Welfare Department (CWD).
To make this operation successful, the police instructed all station house officers, in-charges of police posts, and crime branches to coordinate better with the public to stop child labourers, human traffickers, and those involved in unethical work.
Commissioner of Police Gurugram, Kala Ramachandran, emphasized the importance of citizen participation and appealed to the public to cooperate with the police in the future. She urged the public to inform the police immediately through dial 112 or any other means if they have any information about suspicious activities, missing children or adults, exploited individuals, or any other situation that requires police intervention.
The commissioner also stressed that the public’s cooperation and information are crucial in helping the victims reunite with their families and get justice. Overall, Operation Muskan has been a unique initiative that has successfully rescued missing children and other individuals in Gurugram.
