Gurgaon: In a major rejig, the state government transferred 44 IAS and Haryana civil services (HCS) officers on Saturday, replacing deputy commissioners of seven districts.
Prashant Panwar, who was removed as the deputy commissioner (DC) of Nuh after the July 31 violence, has been given charge of Fatehabad. Panwar was briefly shifted as the municipal commissioner of Rohtak and given an additional charge of HSVP (Rohtak) administrator after the communal clashes.
Ashok Kumar Garg, meanwhile, is set to replace Sahil Gupta as the municipal commissioner of Manesar while Rahul Hooda will take over the charge as Rewari DC from Mohammad Imran Raza. Hooda was previously posted as Yamunanagar DC; the post will now be handed over to Manoj Kumar. Belina, the joint CEO of GMDA, was given the additional charge of district registrar of firms and societies, Gurgaon. The post was vacant for the past month after the outgoing registrar superannuated. tnn
