ROHTAK: Dera Sacha Sauda chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim who is serving life imprisonment in local district jail has been granted 50 days parole by the state government.
According to order signed by Rohtak divisional commissioner, Ram Rahim has been granted 50 days regular parole under some conditions.
The prisoner would stay at UP’ Barnava ashram during this period.He would abide by norms of Haryana Prisoners Act, 2022.
He was granted parole on 18/1/24 for next 50 days.
However, local jail officials refused to comment on the issue.
Notably, Ram Rahim has been in jail since August, 2017.
