GURGAON: The Haryana government announced free bus travelfor women on the occassion of Rakshabandhan.
The facility can be availed from August 29 noon to August 30 midnight. Deputy commissioner Nishant Kumar Yadav said, “Women will be able to travel for free in Haryana Roadways buses for 36 hours.”
Haryana State Transport Corporation has been instructed to keep all arrangements in place at all bus stands in the district to ensure the facility is extended to women. The frequency of buses has also been increased on the routes where heavy crowd is expected during the festival.
