Cyber fraudsters cheated a woman from Gurugram of around ₹35 lakh in the name of stock market investment. The woman has filed a case at the Cyber Police Station East. Sakshi Jain, a resident of DLF Phase 2, stated in her complaint to the police that she had recently seen an advertisement for the stock market on social media.

The woman saw a stock market advertisement on social media. She was lured with the promise of good profits.

Sakshi Jain, a resident of DLF Phase 2, stated in her complaint to the police that she had recently seen a stock market advertisement on social media. After seeing the ad, she received a phone call promising high returns on investments in shares. Initially, Sakshi invested a small amount.

After that, she was added to a group. Sakshi was shown good profits in her digital account. Subsequently, she invested ₹34.91 lakh. When Sakshi asked to withdraw the money, she was asked to invest more. Realizing the fraud, she filed a complaint at the police station.
